Baseball Built Around Local Charters
OHSBL operates through local charters that organize teams, leagues and regular-season competition in their communities. The state organization provides the common rules, tournament structure and statewide administration that connect those local programs.
The organization traces its Ohio roots to Alliance, which received the first Ohio Hot Stove charter in 1937. The league later incorporated as the Ohio Hot Stove Baseball League and has continued through generations of volunteer leadership.
